Yasmine Anderton is a 5th grade girl who heard about the needs of children in Haiti and wanted to do something to help! She couldn't believe that kids just like her have little or nothing to eat or drink, and no toys. Yasmine asked her mother to take her to a craft store, and she began making bracelets to sell for $.25 to $1. When her piggy bank was full, she sent it to Mission of Hope to give to the School of Hope fund which will provide school supplies and a nutritious meal, along with other needs, for school children! Yasmine is a beautiful example of Hebrews 13:16, "and do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased."

Our Mobile Medical Clinics meet very real physical needs for hundreds of Haitians each week, but more importantly, they provide an environment of love and caring that truly helps people see, feel, and hear about Jesus. Last week, 45 of those precious people not only heard about Him, but also chose to make Him their Savior!

The World Race team has spent the last few days preparing for a 3 day English training for all levels of English speaking Haitians. When they attend, they will have their English level assessed and they will be placed in the correct class. They will also receive clean water, food, and the opportunity to hear the Gospel. Village Champions are present at the classes to continue learning English but also to share the Gospel and provide any discipleship follow up for people from the local villages. Amazing!!

Yesterday, our MOH Staff Family, in both Haiti and North America, took several hours to pray for one another, our families, and the powerful impact that is being made on a nation because of their faithfulness. A portion of that time was spent in God's Word, allowing Him to personally speak encouragement and direction. Ephesians 6:10-13 "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand."

Last week saw the beginning of a potential game-changer in how malnourished kids in Haiti and around the world can be sustainably fed. We piloted a “3 pack” with Feed My Starving Children and Convoy of Hope where 3 ingredients of a Manna Pack were shipped to Haiti and rice purchased from Haitian farmers was added to complete the nutritious meals. So excited to see where God leads this project next!
