Mission of Hope Haiti
May 6, 2016
This week, as our interns were in Leveque, they met a group of Haitians worshiping on one of the hills. They discovered the group was from a village two and a half hours away and that two years ago they felt God calling them to travel to Leveque every Wednesday morning to pray over the community! This photo shows the view from where they pray. 615 homes have now been built in Leveque for families displaced by the earthquake. What an amazing example of the Lord's faithfulness!

When I wake up in my house I will thank them again. I will thank them every day." -Levek house recipient Thank you to everyone who has helped build a home in this community!

Virgile has been coming to our medical clinic since it's been open. Last year she had to have one of her legs amputated. Since then she developed multiple wounds that have progressed over this last year and nothing we were doing was helping. She even had a surgery to help with her wounds. We recently had a team come in and train our clinic staff on wounds and how to use WoundVacs. Virgilie was the perfect candidate. She received a dressing on one of her wounds and a wound vac on the other. As of today her wounds are healing very nicely!
