Job Summary

This position will report to the Business Operations Team Lead. It will require someone who is a highly motivated self-starter that is organized, detail oriented and willing to learn. The role will primarily focus on supporting and monitoring key business operations in Haiti including the Mission of Hope Store, 3 Cords, Meal Packaging, and other business initiatives as determined by the Team Lead.

Church Advancement Interns will work alongside the Mobilization intern coordinator and Church Advancement Coordinator to ensure effective communication and execution of team’s Church Advancement Projects. They will act as a liaison between MOB interns and Village Champions for daily team activities.

Mobilization Hospitality Interns will work alongside the Mobilization Coordinators and the Mobilization Director to create an environment that is welcoming and safe for the visiting teams, model servant leadership, and go above and beyond in their daily tasks.

Internships

Mission of Hope offers multiple internship opportunities to qualified individuals who have a heart to see life transformation in Haiti. Our current internship program consists of 3 sessions (Spring, Summer, Fall), each lasting 3-4 months. While in Haiti, interns help the operations on the ground run more smoothly, ultimately helping Mission of Hope continue its vision of bringing life transformation to every man, woman, and child in Haiti. Additionally, individuals with specific skillsets outside of these areas are also encouraged to apply. Interns MUST be at least 18 years old.

Intern Fund-Raising & Compensation

  • Interns must provide their own airfare to/from Haiti. This amount can be raised through support.
  • A minimum of $550/month must be raised to cover room and board and must be received by MOH before arrival in Haiti.
  • Interns may raise up to $1800/month and will receive the difference between the amount raised/month and the room and board expenses when their internship is complete.
