I have the best job in the world. I mean, I literally could not dream up something I would rather be doing right now than running 3 Cords. This means I get to hang out with the most amazing women all day, 5 days a week, be crafty, and watch God work wonders in the women’s hearts. I have seen so much healing in each of the women since they started working at 3 Cords. One thing that stands out is when I asked them if they would want to go to the beach with me one day about 4 months ago. They all said they couldn’t go to the beach because they were missing a leg, and they would be too embarrassed.

Well, last week, we ALL went to the beach together and had the most amazing day ever! The pictures speak way louder than words can, so I won’t say too much. One thing I will share though is a sweet moment for my heart. At one point, all the women were sitting on the ledge of the pool, and one of them looked up and noticed all their prosthetic legs standing by themselves on the other side... she started cackling so loud and all the other women joined in! If you can imagine, this never would have happened 4 months ago. But through the community we have together, the confidence they are getting by having a stable job, and Jesus meeting them where they are, miracles are happening in their hearts. Praise God!!

Side note: All but one of the 3 Cords ladies had NEVER BEEN IN A POOL before our day at the beach! They loved it! We played like we were 5 years old... splashing, having piggy back races, jumping off the ledges.. the works! I wish each of you could have been there. Being around these women changes your life. And can inspire like nothing else!
