As an organization following Jesus Christ, Mission of Hope exists to bring life transformation to every man, woman, and child in Haiti. We desire to serve the nation of Haiti, and see lives changed.

Rachel is originally from Niagara Falls, Ontario. She first came to Haiti on a missions trip in 2004. The Hope House children touched her life in a way she never expected. She soon enrolled in the Teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) post-graduate program at Niagara College. Rachel returned to Haiti in 2005 and completed the teaching hours she needed to graduate by teaching ESL in the hallway of the girl’s dorm at the Orphanage. In August 2006, Rachel moved to Haiti full time to work with the children at Hope House. She originally came to teach English to the children but now serves as Associate Director of the orphanage. She enjoys working with a wonderful orphanage staff, and loves the children dearly. She feels honored to play a role in each child’s life and to watch first hand as they grow into godly young men and women.
